Award of Merit

The promotion of a career in construction as a viable choice is one of the LHBA's three strategic priorities. One of the many ways we accomplish this goal is by offering scholarship money each year to students who are pursuing a Career in Construction through entering the workforce full-time in residential construction or a college or university education related to the industry. The LHBA Award of Merit is available to 2 graduating students from the Thames Valley and London District Catholic School Boards, one Fanshawe College student graduating from the Carpentry Techniques program, and one student from North American Trade Schools. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements as well as their teamwork and collaboration skills. Interested students are encouraged to contact their school guidance councilor for details.
