Making the London area a better place for everyone to live.
London Home Builders’ Association and our members are actively involved in their communities! Our members wish to contribute to and participate in activities that make the London area a better place for friends, families, and customers to live.
For example, each year our Renovators’ Council regularly embarks on community support projects. In 2026 volunteers gave their time and resources to help build two much-needed decks at Camp Kee-Mo-Kee.
Through donations and sponsorships to cover the cost of materials needed and volunteers from both the Renovators’ Council and wider LHBA membership, the builds have been huge successes!
We look forward to taking on a new project soon, please submit your project idea below!
Community Service Policy
- To partner with local non-profit organizations for benefit of the London community
- Support projects that allow participation of LHBA members through donation of products, services and labour.
- That the organization asking for support is perceived as having some connection to the industry of residential housing in the City of London.
- That support given will benefit a group of individuals.
LHBA Renovators' Council
Community Build Projects
LHBA’s Renovators’ Council includes many of our RenoMark Renovators, RenoMark Trade Contractors, suppliers and sub trade members; a community-spirited and professional group, who come together to share information, receive industry updates and collaborate to improve services to homeowners, attend professional development sessions and collectively give back to our community.
Each year, members participate in community building projects.
In 2025, the council built a garden shed for Indewell’s Embassy Commons. This year, the council is undertaking a community build initiative with Camp Kee-Mo-Kee. Volunteers are building two much-needed decks on Cabin 2 and Cabin 8. The new decks will address safety concerns regarding the existing structures and significantly improve cabin accessibility. We are currently requesting ideas for potential half day and full day projects to give back to the London community. ALL applications will be considered.
We would be pleased to review your request for support. We ask that you read our Community Service Policy, and complete the application form. Upon receipt, our Community Service Committee will review your request and if applicable, present to the Board of Directors for approval.
