Designated Trades by Location
The list of designated trades varies slightly from province to province. Some have designated specialized residential trades and occupations such as framer and communications technician in addition to traditional apprenticeships.

Don’t forget the government Canada offers a number of different ways to help support apprentices through their trade skills journey. Keep in mind that there are government grants, loans, and other services to help you through your training.
