LHBA’s Renovators’ Council Volunteers to Build Two Much-Needed Decks
April 21, 2026 – The London Home Builders’ Association’s (LHBA) Renovators’ Council volunteers will be giving their time and resources to help build two much-needed decks at Camp Kee-Mo-Kee this weekend, on Saturday April 25.
LHBA’s Renovators’ Council include many of our RenoMark Renovators, RenoMark Trade Contractors, suppliers and sub-trade members; a community-spirited and professional group, who come together to share information, receive industry updates and collaborate to improve services to homeowners, attend professional development sessions and collectively give back to our community.
Each year, members participate in community build projects, fundraisers, education initiatives, public service campaigns, and an Annual Parade of Renovations highlighting local RenoMark Renovator Projects across the city, supporting local charities including Threads of Life.
In 2025, the council built a garden shed for Indewell’s Embassy Commons. This year, the council is undertaking a community build initiative with Camp Kee-Mo-Kee. Volunteers are building two much-needed decks on Cabin 2 and Cabin 8. The new decks will address safety concerns regarding the existing structures and significantly improve cabin accessibility.
We wish to extend our thanks to LHBA’s 2025-26 Renovators’ Council Sponsors, Brouwer Plumbing & Heating, Great Floors, Moffatt & Powell (RONA), Nieman Market Design, Preferred Insurance, Progressive Countertop, and Verbeek Kitchens for their support in making council initiatives possible. Thank you to TF Business Consultants for donating lunch for our volunteers.
We invite working media to visit the community build:
Location: Camp Kee-Mo-Kee, 9581 Glendon Dr, Komoka, ON N0L 1R0.
Date and Time: The build is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th.
This is a full-day project starting at 8:00 AM.
